Applicants and their parents are invited to attend an Open Day at Church Hill where they tour the school and meet the Headmaster of the Church Hill School.

Church Hill School provides a broad and balanced curriculum designed to meet the needs of boys with varied interests, inclinations and abilities. At the end of the third year of secondary education, boys take English (compulsory), Shona and History (both optional) examinations for the Zimbabwe Schools Examination Council. At the end of the fourth year, the boys take examinations for the various subjects, including those for which they would have taken ZIMSEC exams the year before.

Entrance Tests are done at Form Three level .
Lower six students are enrolled using their form 4 results.
Form one applications
Submit the forms with all the required attachments in person at the school.
Application forms and attachments should be submitted on the 17th of August 2018 at 10:00 am which is also Open Day for prospective Form One students and parents.
If an applicant is accepted into the school, they will be required to pay a non-refundable deposit.
Form three applications
Only 6 vacancies exist and these are filled using entrance tests conducted during third term of form 2. Successful applicants will also be required to pay a non-refundable deposit.
Lower VI applications
Applicants should come to the college with their form 4 results slips. They will fill in application forms which should be downloaded from the website, where they indicate their combination of three subjects they want to do at ‘A’ level. One can only choose subjects where they scored an A at ‘O’ level. The minimum number of A’s required to do sciences, commercials and arts are 9, 7 and 5 respectively. The minimum number is however subject to change depending on the general performance of the students for each particular year. About 148 vacancies exist for boys . Preference is given to Church Hill boys but there are usually some places reserved for boys who performed exceptionally well in other schools.

Church Hill School has a proud and illustrious academic record. The pass rate averages 78% plus. It is one of the schools with the highest proportion of students entering the faculties of Medicine, Pharmacy, Engineering and Actuarial Science in Zimbabwe.
